Darcy Ungaro – Director and Financial Adviser

Darcy has completed a degree in Economics majoring in Finance at Massey University in Auckland. Originally from Canada, Darcy moved here in 1995 to study at university – the rest is history.

Darcy enjoys flying in his spare time – an active member of North Shore Aero Club. Darcy and his wife, Tanya, also enjoy going up to their “Bach in the Bush” near Whananaki, Northland.

Darcy is a registered financial adviser working in the area of lending and insurance – he also works in partnership with other mortgage offering specialist mortgage insurance advice to these clients when they are taking out new mortgage debt.

Darcy started in the finance industry in 2003 and over the years has developed a unique needs based, relationship focused process with all of his clients.

Jacqui Matheson- Client Services 

Jacqui joined the team in 2011- her role is to provide back up administration services to Darcy with regards to existing clients. Jacqui has worked in the finance industry since the early ‘90’s and has brought alot to the table in the areas of exceptional customer service and good industry expertise. With a background in lending and accounting - Jacqui has a keen eye for detail.

In her spare time, Jacqui is a mother of 3 and wife to one.

Jerome De Silva – Financial Adviser

Jerome joined us in 2010 as a mortgage adviser.

Jerome started in the finance industry in the early 90’s and has finance experience across three different sectors of the industry; mainstream banking, vehicle finance and commercial building finance with a non-conforming bank.

His industry experience has exposed him to a wide range of financial situations and solutions and allow him to assist first home buyers, clients refinancing to upgrade or renovate, clients investing in a rental property and people with different or challenging loan requirements.

Overall, you’d be hard pressed to find another mortgage adviser with his wide variety of lending experience –  he can look at your situation quite differently and will easily grasp alternative solutions for you that others may not see or know how to make work for you.

Where are we located??

Ungaro & Co are in the White Cross building - Level 3, 202 Ponsonby Rd. Many will know the White Cross building on the intersection of Franklin and Ponsonby Rd. The office is located on the top floor and the entrance to the building is on the side – parking is available in the rear of building.
